Musical Experience: Played in several bands... sound engineering
Style of music: Mathcore, grind, death metal, jazz, drone, post -rock
Hometown Greece
If you want the classic wah sound without additional adjustments that would make more modern sounds (more intense sweep extended to low and high frequencies or combination with built in distortion), you can't get better than this, especially compared to digital pedals that emulate it. This is the real thing, plus you get some boost to make your solos stand out, which is critical in a heavy band with two guitar players. When not pressed it works like a volume control. Volume reduction does the same to the overall gain, so it it nice for playing a note and then turning the volume up after with your foot instead of the volume knob of your guitar for more precision and not having to hang your little finger around the knob. It's an awesome wah!
