I got the 13" teardrop for drum major use and trumpet sectional use and it is great. Perfectly balanced. Smooth handle and shaft. Would recommend even to the director of the New York Philharmonic.

This baton is one of the best I've used. For its low cost it has quaity craftsmanship and perfect handle-to-baton weight distribution. It will balance perfectly on a fulcrum with the handle on one side and baton on the other. It moves very easily through the air in slow, fast, and passages demanding extra movement.

I bought this as a practice baton not expecting much, but it has the look and feel of a Mollard, which costs 6x as much. It comes in a hard plastic tube, and balances perfectly.
