Bought my son a cheapy set of drums a couple years ago, and all the hardware got stripped within six months. Didn’t want to spend big bucks, so got two of these, and was I surprised at how well these are constructed in comparison. If you're just getting started or just need a lower priced replacement, these won't disappoint you.

If you need cymbals higher off the ground for show or flash - these won't cut it. The height is only 2-tier versus standard 3-tier found in typical stands. They are a great stand in the studio and the cartage CO loves the fact that they are EZ to pack and store. This is the ONLY negative about them so you can just assume they are great otherwise - & they are the best deal, period!
