I have found my CTK-900 to be pretty impressive for its price. The sound from the speakers is first-rate, and the quality of accompaniments is good as well. The MIDI certainly came in handy for my composition projects. My only problem is that it is somewhat fragile. While it is certainly portable in the sense that it is light and easily stored, it does not hold up well to temperature fluctuations or handling bumps in the backseat of my car. Also, though its output to headphones is fine, sending it anywhere else is insufficient. It also came with internal problems that kept it from downloading voices off of the internet. Bottom line, great for beginners and for basic composition.
