I've used these reeds from strength 2.5 all the way to 4 with great results. Easy to break in, smooth, consistent sound. I use a silver Rampone R1 Jazz horn, with a Ponzol Custom rubber mouthpiece (facing .110). Typically all 4 in a box play well, though I end up throwing one out after a couple days. I have no problems hitting altissimo D, even on just the 2.5. No squeaks or squeals like with Superials, or stuffiness with Jazz Select. Fabulous!

They play well on several tenor mpcs. I use 3 1/2 strength on .110 tip opening. They're responsive from Bb1 to Bb4 with a hint of grit to it's sound.
