Effect Level Knob
This adjusts the effects volume.
Low Knob
This adjusts the sound quality of the effect's lower range. Becomes flat when set to the middle.
High Knob
This adjusts the sound quality of the affect's upper register. Becomes flat when set to the middle.
Brilliance Knob
This adjusts the guitar's harmonic overtones and the sparkling, gleaning feel unique to chorus.
Ambience Knob
This adjusts the effect's feeling of depth and breadth.
Mode Knob
This selects the chorus effect type. The depth knob does not work when this knob is set to DIMENSIONAL D or CD-1.
Rate Knob
This adjusts the chorus speed. When the mode is DIMENSIONAL D, this knob is used to switch the SDD-320 mode. When the mode is CE-1, it becomes an intensity knob. Also, you can verify, at a glance, the chorus speed with the rate indicator.
Depth Knob
This adjusts the chorus depth. It does not work when the mode is DIMENSIONAL D or CE-1.
Memory Number Indicator
This illuminates to indicate the memory number (1 to 4) that is currently selected.
Peak Indicator
The illuminates just before a signal clips.
Effect ON/OFF Indicator
This illuminates when an affect is turned on.
Manual Indicator
This Illuminates when set to manual.
Memory Indicator
This illuminates when a memory is used. If flashes when changing a setting of a selected memory or when in standby during a write operation. It flashes rapidly when memory is being written.
Effect ON/OFF Pedal
This turns on and off an effect each time it is pressed.
Manual/Memory Pedal
This selects or switches between manual, which outputs the sound as sat by the knobs on the front panel, and memory, which uses settings that are made beforehand and saved to memory. Also, pedal operation differs according to the pedal mode setting.
Input Jacks
The output of an electric guitar, bass guitar, other instrument or effects processor is connected here. These jacks support both mono and stereo input.
Level Switch
This sets the input level in accordance with the device connected to the input jacks. Set to GUITAR/BASS when connecting an electric or bass guitar, or set to AMPLIFIER, SEND/RETURN when connecting to the send/return, etc., of a guitar amp, etc.
Headphone Jack
This allows you to hear the sound via headphones.
Output Jack
Connect this to a guitar or bass amp, to another effect processor, to a mixer, or to an MTR, etc. These jacks support mono or stereo output.
AC Adapter Jack
This connects to an AC adapter (PSA-100, sold separately). The CE-20 can also be powered by batteries.
