Product Description
Dukoff
Obtain the classic Dukoff sound with the power and projection of metal. With many different chambers and baffles, you can find exactly the sound you desire.
Product Overview and Specifications
Dukoff's Tenor Saxophone mouthpieces feature construction from Dukoff's custom Silverite metal. This contributes to a bright "edgy" tone with depth and guts for an exciting sound. The shank of the mouthpiece has been elongated to get a better grip on the cork when tuning. The insert for the teeth is slightly contoured for more comfortable playing. The response is instantaneous and clean.

I've been playing an M8 for almost a year now, having switched from a D8(too bright for my tastes) and a Bari WT III (too bright, too thin in the upper register and unresponsive in the bottom register), and love it. For years I've worked to achieve the Texas Tenor-style sound in my jazz and gospel playing, and I've finally found a mouthpiece that allows me to capture that sound. I use Vandoren V-16 reeds in size 2 1/2, and it plays great. If you're looking for a mouthpiece with a rich, full sound with lush subtones and some projection, give this mouthpiece a try!
