Style of music: light but not a very light sound

First, it instrument is a fine looking instrument. Second, it plays very excellent tones. Third, it not even heavy and they give you a case to go with it so you can carry it with you anywhere you want to go at anytime.

I received a 1970's Blessing M300 for marching band, and it's a great horn. My school has King marching baritones and these and boy am I glad that I got the Blessing. Its valves, while somewhat big, work like a dream. My only gripe is that to empty the 3rd valve slide you have to pull out the main one first. Overall, great for marching.

As a trombone player, this baritone horn is an excellent mellow alternative when my group of musician friends want to play soft music for an in-home setting when using a mute on the trombone just doesn't cut it. I can use the trombone for Dixieland, but when I want to play "As time goes by", I shift to the baritone. Fortunately, I can read both treble and bass clefs and make an immediate transition between valve and slide positions. The only drawback is that, at 68 tears old, it is a bit heavy to handle while standing, as the resulting torque affects my back. However, that is not the horn's fault. So, I can always sit while playing. It was also a great value!
