The goal of Blessing technicians was to design a trombone that would produce the optimal tenor sound. A sound that is perfectly balanced between light and dark timbres is how the B-5 voice can best be described. The B-5 trombone "speaks" in all ranges with ease, and does so with remarkable clarity from the safest pianissimo to the most forceful fortissimo.

With the larger bell (8.5 inches) and moderate bore size (.525 inches) this horn offers a step-up from the beginner's selection and the corresponding sound and feel associated with mid size instruments.

The B8 model has a symphonic bore of .547 inches combined with the 8.5" bell (also available in red copper for a smooth, dark sound) gives the traditional large ensemble presence and ease of playing. This horn produces the big sound without having to work too hard for it.
