I have one of the early Buffett-Besson 2051-2 horns. I purchased this horn after playing a wonderful 1980 Sovereign 967 that I purchased new. The valve action of the new horns is incredible, by far the best I have ever experienced. Responsiveness is superb and low range (4th valve range) is so open and useable. I have tried many other horns and find the new Besson to be a wonderful choice.

A fantastic horn. Wonderful sound, the best valves I've ever played on, and very good craftsmanship.

I got this horn about a year and a half ago and have been happy ever since. The response is perfect and the tone is well centered and dark and this horn can be used in both jazz and concert or symphonic. I love this horn and I think you will too just give her a try.

Go to the website. Look at the musicians who play this instrument. Listen to their CDs and compare their tone to other players. The Prestige is your only option.
