I was immediately impressed with the quality of the case (very durable, room for accessories and music) and the instrument sounds nice. My teacher recommended new strings but says that's typical of most student models. Overall, a great value and a good investment for a beginner- less expensive than renting for a year.

Superb is the only thing I can say about it! I have been playing semi-professionally for about a decade and want to use my professional violin for gigs and concerts only. The student violin I have now just doesn't cut it, and upon a recommendation from a friend, looked at the Bellafina Model 50 violin. I am thoroughly impressed with the depth of sound, clarity of tone, and resonance and vibrance of these instruments! I have not seen anything of this quality for under $500 since I don't know when. They are well-made with a beautiful finish. I highly recommend these, not only for students, but for any advanced player on a budget. You will not find a violin of this kind at this price anywhere else, and I promise, you will not be disappointed, either.
