Product Overview and Specifications
Bach Trumpet Mouthpieces

Insist On a Genuine Bach Mouthpiece
Bach mouthpieces are designed to meet every conceivable playing need and have for nearly three quarters of a century. A Bach mouthpiece will make a poor instrument play well, a good instrument play better. Volume and excellent intonation, ease of response in the high and low register, rich, uniform timbre throughout the range, and resistance calculated to increase the player's endurance - these characteristics explain why the best professional artists choose Bach.

Because Bach mouthpieces are the accepted standard of quality, their numbers are familiar everywhere as designations for certain models and types. Although Bach mouthpieces have often been copied, they have never been equaled for precision, tuning, and playing characteristics. Only genuine Bach mouthpieces bear the full inscription VINCENT BACH with one of the model numbers.

Any type of mouthpiece is going to sound different because everybody has a different body chemistry which includes the lips. So, to pull out all the whack legitimacy of science lets think about everybody's lips and how they are different. (maybe it is you who didn't pay attention in science). Me personally it creates a warmer sound than the silver mouthpiece I have and it also doesn't get as cold as fast. So, before you come on here thinking you are the stuff with your "so called" logistics of science think about different lips and how it would affect them... that's the end of story my friend.

I had been using some old Bach 5C mouthpiece, and then I switched to this Bach 1-1/2C and my tone was increased immensely. It is very comfortable.

I play on a 3C and I am about to buy a gold 1.5C. I have been really impressed with these mouthpieces, and I highly recommend any of Bach's line of mouthpieces.

I love my Bach 3C! It has wonderful projection, and tone quality unlike your hunk of junks or Schilke mouthpieces. The Bach 3C also has a great tone in the upper register (high C and up) and likewise for the lower register. I tend to frown upon the trumpet players with Schilkes and other bent dimes with holes in the middle, because most of the people who buy teeny tiny mouthpieces are looking for that "Grand C" or that bright sound for 1st part in jazz band.
