Product Description
Bach
Bach mouthpieces are designed to meet every conceivable playing need and have for nearly three quarters of a century. A Bach mouthpiece will make a poor instrument play well, a good instrument play better. Volume and excellent intonation, ease of response in the high and low register, rich, uniform timbre throughout the range, and resistance calculated to increase the player's endurance - these characteristics explain why the best professional artists choose Bach. Available silver-plated or gold-plated.

Bach Standard Mouthpieces

Insist On a Genuine Bach Mouthpiece
Bach mouthpieces are designed to meet every conceivable playing need and have for nearly three quarters of a century. A Bach mouthpiece will make a poor instrument play well, a good instrument play better. Volume and excellent intonation, ease of response in the high and low register, rich, uniform timbre throughout the range, and resistance calculated to increase the player's endurance - these characteristics explain why the best professional artists choose Bach.

Because Bach mouthpieces are the accepted standard of quality, their numbers are familiar everywhere as designations for certain models and types. Although Bach mouthpieces have often been copied, they have never been equaled for precision, tuning, and playing characteristics. Only genuine Bach mouthpieces bear the full inscription VINCENT BACH with one of the model numbers.

I've been playing on a Bach 12 for about 7 months now, after switching from a Bach 7. My high register immediately improved, however my tone became brighter. There is no doubt that the 12 is a great mouthpiece, and the brightness in tone isn't too bad, but it's noticable. I would recommend this mouthpiece to someone who wants a quality piece that will help them with their high register, but is on a budget.
