The Bach 196 / 196S Stradivarius Bb/A Professional Piccolo Trumpet continues to be one of the leading piccolo trumpets for professional players. The Bach 196 / 196S Strad features a .401 inch small bore and one-piece hand-hammered bell for excellent response and a bright projecting sound. The Bach Strad 196 / 196S also features a four Monel valve construction to extend the range of the instrument and allow for alternate fingerings. The Bach 196 / 196S Stradivarius Bb / A Piccolo Trumpet includes a 1896 case and 351-7E mouthpiece and is available in lacquer (196) or silver (196S) finish.
