A16SB System Bridge Overview
The AN-16SB System Bridge is designed to be used with the AN-16/i and AN-16/i-M Input Modules and the AN-16/o Output Module when digital snake systems larger than 32 channels are required. One AN-16SB is used at each end of every 48- or 64- channel run.
At the input source location, one AN-16SB is used to combine up to four A-Net data steams from A-Net input/output modules so that they can be transmitted over a single Cat-5 cable. The combined Bridge output features a heavy-duty locking Neutrik EtherCon connector.
At the destination, another AN-16SB System Bridge is used to separate the combined A-Net signal back into individual streams. The separate streams are then connected to input and output modules.
