Both microphones receive phantom power from my Behringer Eurorack UB-802 mixer. I use the AT-2020 primarily to record vocals and instrumental (baritone saxophone) solos. The quality of sound reproduction is outstanding. I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend the AT-2020 to others. For the price, the sound quality is nice & professional, I use it with my Art Tube MP Pre Amp, which works great, and the stand mount that comes with it attaches right on to my cheap mic stand.
