Product Description
Ampeg
The BA-115HP is a simplified tone box featuring a 220 watt power section and 1" horn driver for high frequency definition. The variable "L-pad" on the back of the amp allows you to adjust the level of your highs. The XLR line out makes it easy to patch to a mixing board or recording console. A built-in digital chromatic tuner and mute switch have been added for easy noiseless tuning or changing of instruments while on stage.
Product Overview and Specifications
Simple and to the point, the BA115HP has a 220W power section, custom 15" woofer, and 1" compression tweeter with a variable pad to adjust the crossover level. The straightforward-yet-effective EQ controls deliver lots of tonal flexibility, especially in conjunction with the Style response control. An XLR direct out allows patching to a mixing board or recording console while the built-in digital chromatic tuner and mute switch make it easy to tune silently.

I have had this combo amp for a year and it has performed well and sounds really nice. I have used it to do small gigs, rehearsals, and I use almost every weekend at church. I love the tone you can get out of this amp and combined with my Sansamp BDDI it sounds really sweet with a little tube emulation. If you like the Ampeg tone this little combo does it well. It's not real tube tone but it's about as good as it gets in this price range. I am really happy with the tone I get. It is the single reason why this amp is worth buying. It has a built in tuner that works well and it came w/ removable casters and spring loaded side handles. These are important since it weighs 85 lbs. The amp lacks an effects loop and the ability to send a pre/post EQ signal. You can't adjust the level of the signal from the D.I. either. That bugs me. A combo in this price range should have those features. Overall it's a nice amp and it has served me well.
